The Federazione Cure Palliative Onlus was founded in Milan on 6 April 1999.
The new entity was created on the initiative of 22 Non-Profit Organisations (NPOs) already active for years in the palliative care sector in Italy in order to acknowledge the needs and problems of the NPOs active in the territory and to act as a single authoritative voice.
